Dr. Valentine is the owner and founder of Valentine Eye Care and brings over 42 years of experience to our practice, not only serving as a medical officer in the US Navy, but also subsequently in private practice for 19 years in San Jose, California and over 15 years in the Leominster-Fitchburg area.
With a special interest in hard-to-fit contact lens cases and treating anterior segment eye disease, Dr. Valentine welcomes patients of all ages. He prides himself in providing a careful, unhurried exam allowing ample opportunity for you to discuss your eye care needs and your diagnosis and treatment options in a relaxed and thorough manner.
Dr. Valentine received his professional education from the University of Houston and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Ferrera graduated Magna Cum Laude from Providence College earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
She completed her optometric training at the New England College of Optometry in 2002 and is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Her clinical training included internships at Capital Eye Consultants in Fairfax, Virginia and Braverman Eye Center in Hallandale, Florida.
During her post-doctoral residency, Dr. Ferrera specialized in ocular disease treatment and management.
She is credentialed by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Ferrera has practiced in the Leominster area for over 16 years and takes a special interest in contact lens fitting and treatment and management of ocular disease. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and is committed to providing her patients with thorough and comprehensive eye care.
Dr. Ferrera resides in Leominster with her family. She enjoys running, traveling, and playing the piano.
